Services
Interfaces between the plant, substation, grid and operations are critical to project reliability. We connect engineering studies, protection settings and site testing.
Design, grid connection and protection coordination.
Load flow, short-circuit calculations, grid connection studies, operating scenarios, substation constraints and documented assumptions.
Protection schemes, setting calculations, relay coordination, interface protection and alignment with grid operator requirements.
Review of PV plant compliance with project and grid operator requirements: protection, power quality, testing and technical documentation. Identification of deviations and preparation of documented responses; official approvals remain with the competent bodies.
Design review, technical specifications, testing support and interface clarification for overhead lines, HV/MV substations, switchgear, transformers and auxiliary systems.
Sizing, LV/MV diagrams, DC and AC cabling, protection, earthing and grid connection substation interfaces. Drawings, calculation reports and bills of materials coordinated with compliance and protection selectivity studies. Explore solar PV project support →
From system architecture to operational interfaces.
Review of supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA), control system, metering and telecommunications architectures. Verification of signal exchanges and their consistency with operational requirements.
Technical support for the owner and commissioning teams.
Technical representation of the owner in dealings with the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contractor: document review, construction monitoring, hold points, punch lists, acceptance and resolution of technical issues.
Preparation and supervision of factory acceptance tests (FAT) and site acceptance tests (SAT), sequence checks, punch lists, verification of test results and acceptance documentation.
Prepare outages and plant improvements.
Operation and maintenance support according to the technology and agreed scope: outage preparation, inspections, intervention planning, procurement and requalification testing. Required expertise and response times are defined for each assignment.
Monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs), control system upgrades, development of computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS), sourcing of hard-to-find parts and supplier qualification. Actions are prioritised according to their effect on availability.

Experience
Tunisia
The founder’s track record includes managing a 60 MWp PV EPC project in Tunisia, overseeing interfaces between engineering, construction and acceptance. RB POWER has developed solar projects from 1 to 50 MW, carried out opportunity assessments and solar pre-feasibility studies for projects from 1 to 500 MW in Tunisia and abroad, and prepared tender submission packages for solar projects from 5 to 80 MW.
Industrial renewables
Process optimisation and biomass plant commissioning in Japan; outages and testing at a 30 MW geothermal plant in Indonesia.
Conventional power
Commissioning, testing and outages involving KA26/GT26 combined-cycle plants, coal-fired plants and GE and Mitsubishi turbines, as part of the founder’s international assignments.
